It looks like things are finally going to start moving around here. We all know the Authoress, has been busy editing, the unfortunate thing for us, is that it has been for the other authoress Madam CC. With one novel submitted and another having first round edits completed, our Authoress has decided to spend some time writing each day.

This has a lot to do with one of RWAus authors posting a blog each week ‘A Novel in 3 Months’.

We all know the Authoress can’t pass up a challenge, (although this is not really a challenge, more like a helping hand.

It also means that Lexie and I, James, are finally going to get our story told. We are in the lucky position of only have a few pages written, hence making this exercise more suited to our story. If you check out The Novels Blog, you will find information there related to our story. I do believe the Authoress is going to use this site again as a back story site for her novels.

Watch out for my interview with the Authoress in the next couple of weeks.

Trouble is a Brewing

ROTFLOAO that is what we guys are doing. A few weeks back the girls gave us such a hard time about picking on the Authoress, now it seems they have had enough as well, visit their site Diary of a Heroine. Personally, I don’t think it will make much difference, when the Authoress is ready to finish our stories she will. But, we have given our support to the girls, who knows, maybe being women they’ll have better luck than we did.

I have to admit, I want to see Sky’s and mine story move along a bit faster. After all 450 words is not a lot to go on, I have this uneasy feeling that there are some big events that are going to impact on our lives. I’m not sure that they will be good events either. Well, there’s not a lot I can do about it until the Authoress fills in a bit more of the white space on the page.

What Does She Mean?

It seems our authoress thinks we are anything but real. I'll have her know we are very real, we have feelings. We would also like to see her get back to work and either get a few of these novels edited and submitted so our stories can be read and enjoyed by the readers.

Personally, I'd like to see my story move along a bit. I mean there are a few of the boys who have tasted the fruits of their lady friends, while I am yet to get that far. I'm well known around the ladies circles as a fantastic lover and yet my heroine has not had the pleasure of my body pressed against hers, my hands....

Okay Romeo back into your room, you may not like the fact that I've had you waiting to take you lady to bed, but it will be well worth the wait.

I'm New Around Here

I thought I should drop by and introduce myself to you all. I'm James Darcy, no relation to Fitzwilliam Darcy by the way, or before you ask. How I ended up here is beyond me, one minute I was minding my own business and the next I'm in some novel because my best friend has decided she wants to have my child.

Now don't get me wrong, I'd love to jump in the sack with Lexie, I mean, she's hot. Very hot, but she is my best friend, she's also my business partner, so it could get a little sticky if I don't mesh with her in the sack. Well in truth she wants to go the artificial insemination road, but I've put my foot down. No way are my boys going to be swimming around in a plastic cup, and I've told her that as well. No, if we are going to have a child together we'll do it the good old fashion way. Is that being chauvinistic? I'm surprised she didn't throw that at me when we spoke last.

Man, she is so sexy when she gets riled up. Gets my blood pumping and I just want to take her to .... Okay better not go that far, she may drop by and read this. Maybe I should leave and have a chat with the other boys, see how they handle their women. Yep, that's what I should do. Until next time, have a good one.

Why Would I Want to Move?

It seems the girls are complaining about our storylines taking too long to develop. In truth, I’m happy with the way things are at the moment. I mean who wouldn’t be? I’m in bed with a beautiful woman; I have no work to worry about. The moment our author starts back on our story, I know for certain things are not going to run all that smoothly and I may not get any more sex for quite a few pages or chapters even.

An Interview with Romanos Makris

I'm joined today by Romanos Makris, the hero in my latest work in progress 'The Godmother's Wish'.

Welcome Mr. Makris and thank you for joining me to-day.

Thank you Ms. Hudson for inviting me, and please, call me Roman.
His hand shake is warm and his eyes friendly.

Okay Roman.

S) You are the CEO of the Makris family business. How did you come to this position?

R) My Yia-yia (Grandmother) insisted that I obtain my degree in Business Management at university when I left high school, then I started work as a clerk in the family business and worked my way up to CEO.

Roman smile lights up his face as her talks about his Grandmother.

S) Your Uncle was by past for you to take the reins, how is your working relationship with him?

R) My Uncle has never had any ambition other than to live off the family money. His son it seems lives by the same motto.

He moves in his seat crossing his legs, the change in his manner is that of a man who has little time for those that are happy to sit back and take hand outs.

S) I believe your Grandmother has been unwell lately. How is she doing?

R) She is making progress with her recovery from hip surgery, we are looking forward to having her return home soon.

S) By we, do you mean Lucy Hogan your Grandmother's Goddaughter?

R) Yes, Lucy will be staying with Yia-yia for a few months.

The lines in his face relax for a moment. His eyes turn a deep chocolate brown. (Hum, interesting)

S) You recently ended your relationship with Diana Rosewell, has Lucy's return anything to do with this?

R) No!

Roman moves again in his seat, he does not seem comfortable with this line of questions.

S) You are staying at your Grandmother's house home with Lucy?

R) I am there helping prepare for Yia-yia's return home. Nothing more.

That answer is slightly defensive.

S) You think a lot of your Grandmother?

R) Yia-Yia raised me from the age of six. She is the only mother I remember and I love her as if she were my natural mother.

His voice changes to that of respect and love as he talks again of his Grandmother.

S) She took Lucy in after Lucy's parents died. Did you find it hard to have to share your Grandmother with an outsider?

R) No. I was in university by then, Lucy was an only child and had no other relatives. She was only a child back then, how could I begrudge a child a good home?

S) But she is a woman now.

R) Yes.

He is watching me from behind weary eyes. His body has tensed.

S) Are you attracted to her?

R) I don't find that any of your business. I think we will end this interview here.

Okay that may have been the wrong questions. He walks from the room, his back ridged. But boy he has a great butt.

Introducing Romanos Makris

Roman is a six foot three Australian born Greek. His smoldering dark eyes and Mediterranean good looks has women throwing themselves at his feet.

Raised was by his Grandmother from the age of six after his parents were killed by a drunk driver. He has a strong love and respect for his Grandmother and would do anything to make her happy.

At the age of eighteen he moved out of his Grandmothers home to attend university. At this time his grandmother became guardian to a then twelve year old Lucy Hogan when her parents died on a boating trip.

Roman graduated from university with honors from his business degree and stepped into the family business as a clerk. Now he heads that business and is well know as a tough but fair business man.

Editing Mode

I'm starting to edit four of my novels and these lovely men above here are the heroes of these said novels. We have the debonair Colin Firth, rough around the edges Justin Chambers, hunky Keanu Reeves and of course McDreamy himself the sexy Patrick Dempsey. What other inspiration do I need to edit.

To tell the truth one I already have three chapters edited, another about two chapters done, but the last two I'm just starting on.

My hope is that during this editing stage I'll get to know these guys just that little bit better. I get glimpses of them during my first draft but that is all, especially if I've written the whole novel within a month. Which is what I did with two of these novels.

The one I've been working on today was my NaNo novel from last year. Yeah I finally thought I'd let it sit long enough. Yes it needs some major work to get it into shape, but at least I've started. That is better than the last few days where I've done nothing more than play around with new headers from my other blogs and website go and have a look if you like click here.

The aim is to edit 9 pages a day so I have all four works finished by the 26th of January 2009. That's when 70 Days of Writing Sweat ends or as we call it SVEN.

Okay I'm off my own hero has just arrived home so I'm going to have a cuppa with him. See you soon.
